4 Winter Skincare Tips Anyone Can Use

  1. Start on the inside. Winter air is almost always drier. With the interior of your home and office also likely dry, your skin is left parched. Drinking plenty of water (preferably pH balanced or spring water) is one of the most important things you can do for your skin during the winter.
  2. Don’t be afraid of supplements. Supplements can be of great benefit to your skin. We have supplement options that support overall skin health, including those with essential fatty acids (EFA) and other critical ingredients that can help encourage and protect skin in the winter.
  3. Watch out for soaps! A lot of soaps and even laundry detergents contain harsh detergents they use to cleanse. Unfortunately, they also strip your skin of natural moisturizers. Switch to mild, natural soaps (perhaps even plant-based) and detergents and swap out anti-static dryer sheets for wool dryer balls.
  4. Choose the right moisturizer. Find a moisturizer with no drying agents that will replenish the lost moisture in your skin. Watch out for ingredients that speed absorption, since these have found to be drying. Get recommendations and find a store that will let you try before buying.
